Sierra Leone Freetown Mission Christmas Ornament
This ornament is a great way to remember your missionary and their service during the holidays! The design on this ornament is inspired by the Coat of Arms of Sierra Leone.
Made out of a lightweight and very durable transparent acrylic, these ornaments will not weigh your tree down and can definitely withstand being dropped by the little ones should they get too curious around the tree. The acrylic is cut into a 4 inch circle and then laser etched with the name of the mission and graphics inspired by the region served.
The design on this ornament is inspired the Coat of Arms of Sierra Leone, which depicts a lion on the shield beneath a zigzag border, representing the Lion Mountains, after which the country was named. It also shows three torches which are meant to symbolize peace and dignity, with wavy bars at the base of the shield, representing the sea. The supporters of the shield are two additional lions, with the national motto in a banner at the bottom of the scene.
Get one for yourself or send a pair out to your missionary and their companion!
Mission Social Media Groups
These groups are a great way to connect with other families who have missionaries in the same area, reconnect with other missionaries you served with in the past or simply learn more about the mission. Depending on the membership activity in the group, these can be truly amazing resources!
