Product Description

Made out of a lightweight and very durable transparent acrylic, these ornaments will not weigh your tree down and can definitely withstand being dropped by the little ones should they get too curious around the tree.  The acrylic is cut into a 4 inch circle and then laser etched with the name of the mission and graphics inspired by the region served.

The design on this ornament is inspired by the Coat of Arms of Norway, which features a lion on a shield, standing on its hind legs and brandishing a axe. The arms has its origin in the 13th century and was adopted by king Harald V of Norway, and as such represents both the monarch and the kingdom. The heraldic lion is quite common in Western Europe, and several European countries and cities incorporate it into their respective coats of arms.
