Product Description

Made out of a lightweight and very durable transparent acrylic, these ornaments will not weigh your tree down and can definitely withstand being dropped by the little ones should they get too curious around the tree.  The acrylic is cut into a 4 inch circle and then laser etched with the name of the mission and graphics inspired by the region served.

The design on this ornament is inspired by the Kansas State Seal, included in the State flag, which depicts a scene from the pioneers life and is made to represent key features of Kansas history. A sun rising over the beautiful landscape and a wagon train heading west are meant to reproduce the states expansionist perspective, with river and steam boat illustrated to represent commerce and a horse towing a plow representing agricultural opportunity. The thirty for stars in the sky are meant to identify its acceptance into the United States and state motto “Ad Astra per Aspera” (meaning “To the Stars through Difficulties”) hangs above it all.
