Product Description
Made out of a lightweight and very durable transparent acrylic, these ornaments will not weigh your tree down and can definitely withstand being dropped by the little ones should they get too curious around the tree. The acrylic is cut into a 4 inch circle and then laser etched with the name of the mission and graphics inspired by the region served.
The design on this ornament is inspired by the National Emblem of Indonesia and is called “Garuda Pancasila”. The Garuda is the mythical golden eagle, common to both Hindu and Buddhist mythology. The Garuda was a chimera, having the wings, beak, and feet of the golden eagle, but a man’s arms and trunk. The Garuda wields a shield, which depicts a 5 sections containing a star, a chain, a Banyan Tree, a bull, and a rice and cotton combination.
